Pasha Feinberg joined Defenders’ Conservation Law team in May 2016 and became a Policy Associate for the Renewable Energy program in September 2016. Pasha earned her B.S. and M.S. in environmental science from Stanford University. At Defenders, Pasha has provided scientific research support to Defenders’ litigators and drafted comments on issues related to the Endangered Species Act and Marine Mammal Protection Act. Prior to joining Defenders, Pasha conducted research in Mexico, Australia, Tanzania, Kenya, and the United States to better understand the relationships between biodiversity, human health, and other ecosystem functions and services. She also previously worked on reducing emissions from deforestation and biofuel production in Indonesia and Brazil at the Environmental Defense Fund.
