Woodland Caribou Critical Habitat
In the spring of 2009 Defenders won a successful settlement against the Department of the Interior and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for their failure to respond to a petition submitted in 2002 to designate critical habitat for the endangered woodland caribou under the ESA.
