Management and Policy

As a member of the Desert Managers Group Defenders is helping to strategize priority actions for the Mohave Ground Squirrel in the West Mojave Desert. We are looking at existing knowledge of ground squirrel ranges on both military and non-military lands and prioritizing areas for more biological monitoring.
