Cactus Ferruginous Pygmy-Owl

The cactus ferruginous pygmy-owl is a small red and cream-colored owl that nests primarily in cavities of the majestic Saguaro cactus. Due to decades of unplanned suburban sprawl in fast-growing southern Arizona, this tiny carnivore faces imminent extinction.
