Take Action for Black-footed Ferrets

Black-footed ferrets need your help. Although they are listed as “endangered” under the Endangered Species Act and are protected from killing, loopholes allow ongoing destruction of important black-footed ferret habitat. Their future is threatened by proposals to destroy some of their most important habitat (prairie dog colonies) on public land, inadequate funding of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s endangered species program, and political attacks on the Endangered Species Act.

Recent successes are also worth supporting!

Thank the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for reintroducing black-footed ferrets onto wildlife-friendly ranches in Kansas.

The finish line for black-footed ferret recovery is in sight. With your help, we can beat back these threats and cross that finish line. Thank you!
