Green Budget: National Funding Priorities for the Environment

The Green Budget is a yearly recommendation, developed by the environmental community, for priority funding to support our nation’s most important environment and natural resource protection programs.

It outlines the most critical needs, and highlights areas where even a small amount of funding will pay huge dividends when it come to protecting our air, water, climate, public health, special places, and wildlife. The Green Budget also seeks to shift money from programs that harm the environment, such as subsidies for polluting industries, to funding for environmental protection.
