Legal Internships


Primary responsibilities are to provide fundraising support to Membership, Development, Online, and field offices through administration of and timely and accurate lists/reports from the Constituent Relationship Management system (CRM) / donor database.
This position is responsible for providing support to the Fundraising Database Director and the VP, Information Services and CIO. The database processing assistant is responsible for producing and maintaining standing reports, a calendar of recurring tasks, keeping up to date documentation on all jobs
The internship is an opportunity for a college or post-graduate student to work one-on-one with our Conservation GIS Analyst in Washington, DC along with other Defenders staff.
This position is designed to provide a wide range of legal experience relating to conservation issues of national significance, encompassing both litigation and policy advocacy on issues ranging from terrestrial and marine species conservation to federal lands management.
The IT Help Desk Associate position provides hardware and software support to National Headquarters and field office staff members of Defenders of Wildlife. This is a twelve (12) month term position, with the potential to be extended.
The Major Gifts Associate is an integral member of the Development team, providing crucial support to Defenders’ major donor outreach and Board and National Council management.
This professional-level position is responsible for developing, overseeing and implementing strategic plan objectives and strategies for the Rockies and Plains Program, with a focus on efforts to promote restoration of wolves to the Rocky Mountains of western Colorado.
