Legal Internships


The Accountant is responsible for the full fixed assets cycle, to include fixed assets tracking, depreciation, and reconciliation to Facilities and IT records. The accountant is also responsible for payroll processing using a 3rd party payroll processor, and recording and reconciling payroll and related withholdings within the GL.
The internship will be structured to address three objectives.
This position is designed to provide a wide range of legal experience relating to conservation issues of national significance, encompassing both litigation and policy advocacy on issues ranging from terrestrial and marine species conservation to federal lands management.
The General Accountant performs a variety of accounting duties, with a focus on revenue accounting, grants accounting, account reconciliations and compliance reporting.
The Marketing Intern will assist in the creation and promotion of content across various marketing channels, including website, social media, blog and more.
This professional-level position is responsible for developing, overseeing and implementing strategic plan objectives and strategies for the Rockies and Plains Program, with a focus on efforts to promote restoration of wolves to the Rocky Mountains of western Colorado. The goal of this program is to pave the way for wolf restoration in Colorado by strengthening the already-strong base of support for wolves in Colorado (around 70% in many polls) and mobilizing these supporters to promote restoration. The program representative works closely with the Denver-based national outreach representative and D.C.-based communications staff to inform the public of the importance of wolf recovery to restore Colorado’s natural balance, work with diverse stakeholders to pave the way for wolves in the state, and grow a large, in-state constituency in active support of this goal.
