Caitlin Leutwiler
Communications Associate
Media relations contact for: global warming & energy, polar bear, ESA legislation, transportation issues, Florida panther, red wolf, and other Southeast regional issues.
Caitlin works on a variety of issues at Defenders, with a focus on national global warming policy and species in the southeast such as the Florida panther, red wolf, right whale and manatee.
Before joining Defenders in 2010, Caitlin interned in the communications department at the Pew Environment Group, focusing on the organization's marine campaigns. She also worked on the press team for Mark Udall's successful U.S. Senate campaign in 2008.
Caitlin holds a degree in English, Philosophy and Environmental Studies from Boston College.
